WHY BLUE SKY FUND?

Blue Sky Fund is on a mission to provide transformational experiences for Richmond area youth through outdoor education. We believe in the power of outdoor experiences to improve youth's overall well-being, but know that not all children, especially youth living in under-resourced areas who participate in Blue Sky programs, have the same access to nature. At Blue Sky we aim to change this narrative by providing over 40,000 hours of outdoor time for 2,000 Richmond youth. Our vision is to ensure every child in our City can benefit from learning about and adventuring in the natural world around us.
