Her work raises awareness, secures funding and in-kind gifts, and builds community support for Goochland’s go-to provider of essential medical and social support services.
A proud native of Richmond, Emily holds a bachelor’s in Psychology from William & Mary and a master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Auburn University. In addition to earning several fundraising certificates, she is an alumna of the Emerging Nonprofit Leaders Program and Leadership Metro Richmond. Throughout her career, Emily has consistently served as a go-to resource for leadership teams. She has held multiple newly-created positions for companies experiencing growth and change, enjoying the challenge of keeping up with a rapidly evolving world.
Emily currently serves as the Immediate Past Chair of Impact 100 Richmond, a women's collective giving circle that has invested $2.2 Million in the Richmond nonprofit community since 2010. A passionate supporter of the environment, Emily spends her weekends at her favorite farmer’s market, socializing her rescue dogs, tending her garden, and researching her next travel destination.
